Sharon Campbell Little is the owner of Wedding Optimizer booking software. Wedding Optimizer partners with venues, hotels, and resorts to generate millions of dollars in wedding bookings and events and our venue partners include Hilton, Hyatt, and Palladium hotels along with several global cruise lines. Originally born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Sharon’s hospitality career spans over 30 years with over a decade of that time spent specializing in the niche of Destination Weddings. After emigrating to the US, Sharon built her romance travel company within the niche of Destination Weddings. Sharon has been the recipient of many top sales awards by hotels, preferred tour operators, and tourism boards. Under her leadership, Sharon’s teams have helped thousands of couples curate the perfect weddings throughout the US and Caribbean, and she also teaches and trains onsite wedding teams how to convert and sell more wedding bookings. Sharon is also an advisory member for the Romance Travel Forum. Sharon is also teaching hospitality and Wedding classes at Orange Coast College in California, and she is passionate about helping and inspiring wedding industry entrepreneurs to become successful.

Knowing how today’s ideal wedding couples behave, shop, and make buying decisions is important to know when presenting your venue as an option for their consideration. It’s the overall client user experience (CX) that will shape how they view your venue. Once you discover when CX actually begins, you can learn to recognize the pain points couples encounter when researching a venue and how your venue can reduce friction to help them to buy. Sort the “lookers from the bookers” and understand the role images will play to help create emotion that will ultimately trigger their buying decisions.
