Katrina Naylor is the Venue Director and Certified Wedding Planner for Butterfly Kisses Pavilion in Newport, NC. Owned by her parents, the venue was originally built for her wedding. She’s been in the wedding industry for almost 11 years and helped build her venue to what it is today. Both she and the venue have set and achieved goals by maintaining a value-driven offering to their target market. Katrina strives to stay fluid with the ever changing industry to keep the business current and relevant. Outside of weddings, Katrina has two beautiful boys and a fun loving husband. While work takes up a lot of time and effort, she spends a lot of my free time being active with her family. Katrina is looking forward to going back to Scotland this summer…..and vows that she’ll one day have a house there!

Of things they’re proud of, things they’ll never allow again, of what brings them the most joy, and how their venues continue to success in challenging markets. Even as seasoned owners, we can all still learn from the experiences of other venues. Our panelists will participate in an open Q&A session about what it is like to run their venue and offer suggestions based on their years of operation. This session will be hosted by a moderator, but attendees will be able to ask questions of their own for the panelists to answer.
