Allison Sousa joined the City of Lenoir City as director of its new venue – The Venue at Lenoir City – in August of 2016, while the facility was still under construction. Her professional background includes over 35 years of management in the private and public sectors, concentrating in the areas of hospitality, marketing, financial services, and non-profit administration. Just prior to working at The Venue, she managed her own marketing company for six years, while also directing the Farragut Business Alliance. Academically, Allison earned a BS degree in business administration and marketing from Belmont University, an MBA from Baylor University, and enjoyed specialized leadership training at the renowned International Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, North Carolina. She is currently a member of the International Venue Managers Association (IAVM), the Knoxville Chapter of Executive Women International, and the Loudon County Committee of 100; and is a board member of the Good Samaritan Center of Loudon County and the Loudon County Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Allison serves as president of Visit Loudon County, and vice-president of the Pilot Club of Lenoir City.
